Copenhagen, 15th and 16th of September, 2025. A diverse delegation of 20 Polish stakeholders, including representatives from industry, farming, think tanks, universities, producers, and environmental NGOs, visited Denmark to learn – and to be inspired – by the Danish Plant-Based Policies.
During the two-day visit, the delegation visited a range of key institutions and organizations, including the organic legume farm Bælgkompagniet, the Danish Parliament, the Danish Agriculture and Food Council, the Think Tank Frej, and the Danish Agricultural Agency. They also met with a representative from the Ministry of Food, Agriculture and Fisheries, and were introduced to Denmark’s work on organic production and its strong network-driven culture.
The visit highlighted how Denmark is working to balance supply and demand in the plant-based food sector, and how the Danish Plant-Based Food Grant works to secure this balance.
A consistent theme throughout the visit was the importance of building robust value chains, and the value of dialogue and cooperation among all stakeholders.
